Transparent parts for fluid experiments

For a clear view of the interior, our customer from the drive and chassis technology needed transparent housing parts. Before a decision could be made as to whether the series tool could be released, an important function had to be ensured: the oil distribution in the housing had to be checked. Using the construction data provided, we built vacuum casting models that were provided with several layers of lacquer using the stereolithography process. The designers were able to start their tests after just nine days.
