FDM-plastics

Plastic parts - flexible or "hard as steel"

With this additive process, PTZ is able to adapt plastic parts to the required customer applications using a wide variety of composite materials. Nevertheless, it is flexible, "suitable for film hinges" or highly rigid using continuous fiber printing - the possibilities for realizing individual lightweight components are almost endless. You can choose between the matrix materials PA6 with short fibers or PA6.6.

It can also be combined with a type of continuous fibers made of carbon, Kevlar® or fiberglass. The most varied fiber courses, even within one construction layer, enable optimal adjustments to the requirements. Honeycomb and hollow structures can also be generated. A flame-resistant PA6 is available for applications that must meet the requirements of UL94.
