Hammer drill

For the functional check in a tough practical test, the customer from North Rhine-Westphalia required complete housings for a new rotary hammer. We produced several of these heavyweights as prototypes from metal and plastic with material properties close to series production. The individual parts of the hammer had to fit one another exactly. They also had to accommodate the engine and transmission parts. The most important criterion, however, was that the hammer drill could be tested in function.

Requirements

  • prototypes for practical test
  • near-series material

Features

  • polyurethane parts and matching aluminum parts
  • build complete prototypes

Material

  • P1026 (black and yellow colored)
  • Available alternative: P5000 / P5001-gf (polyamide)
  • Aluminum (AlSi10Mg)
