The Racetech Racing Team consists of 60 students from the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. As part of the Formula Student, they face the challenge of carrying out a Formula racing car from the first idea to the final competition across disciplines and independently.

The world's largest design competition has its origins in the USA. But the idea that students develop their own racing car, of course, did not stop in front of the automobile country Germany. Since the majority of German universities and universities participate in the competition, the Formula Student has become the most important junior platform in the entire automotive industry.

The aim of the Racetech Racing Team 2019 is to build on the successes of the previous season with a performance increase through weight reduction and the further development of the aerodynamic components. For optimum aerodynamics, the PTZ prototype center builds the footpanel edge protection and brake cover wheel cover.

A VCU / VDCU housing is made for the electronics and a steering angle sensor housing for the chassis of the new RT13. All parts were manufactured using the SLS plastic manufacturing process.
